About the Competition

The 1st All India Paper writing Competition on Emerging Research (PaCER 2020) which is the brainchild of WorldServe Online, aims at bringing out the scientific potential within all of you with the help of this competition.

About the Organiser - WorldServe

Established in 2009 with an aim to make learning fun through practical approaches, WorldServe Education has been successful in changing the lives of more than 3000 students worldwide till date. This has been made possible by introducing students to complex concepts of engineering through simple yet innovate projects. As a research organization, WorldServe has also been successful in imbibing and inculcating various ideas of students and have assisted students to convert the same into successful working prototypes in the shortest time frames possible. Together with students, WorldServe boasts of having published more than 40 research papers in leading publication journals such as IEEE and Springer. Apart from teaching, WorldServe has also conducted several short duration workshops and mini project courses across various colleges in turn igniting young minds! In 2013, WorldServe entered the foray of the IT industry and kicked off its IT operations by developing hardware and software solutions for various clients across the world. Along with this in 2018, WorldServe started its very own International journal "PiCES", to create a platform for budding researchers to emanate their knowledge to the world, in the fastest publication time possible.

The "Perspectives in Communication, Embedded-systems and Signal-processing" - PiCES is a top-class international journal series peer reviewed by an elite and eminent board of editors, which makes sure your research reaches out to the academia world in the shortest time frame possible. It focuses on the latest innovations in the modern fields of Wired/Wireless communications, Embedded systems inclusive of robotics and also signal processing designs in both the Analog and Digital domains, Electrical Systems, Computer and Information Science. Who Can Participate?

Almost anyone! Whether you are a Bachelor of Engineering student or a Ph.D scholar or a teacher or a software engineer - it doesn't matter! The competition is open to all!

What are the Topics?

Please submit original, strictly non plagiarised papers on any topic related to the engineering fields of Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, Computer Science or Information Science. Whether it's your own work or a survey on other research, we accept all!

No, there is no need to present your paper!

How much is the registration fee?

What are the prizes?

1st Prize: INR 5000
2nd Prize: INR 3500
3rd Prize: INR 2000

Will my paper get published?

All papers submitted to PaCER shall go through a format check and a plagiarism check. If both checks pass, you shall then be asked to transfer the copyright of the paper to the publisher. Once done, the paper shall be published FREE OF COST (irrespective of the jury's decision) in the Perspectives of Image processing, Communication and Signal Processing (PiCES) - a monthly published international journal from Germany. The paper will also be indexed in the German National Library (DNB) and also in Google Scholar with an ISSN Number in due course of time.

Will I get certificates even if I do not win?

Authors of all papers submitted to PaCER will receive two e-certificates:

  • one for participating in the competition and
  • another by PiCES on successful publication.
Separate e-certificates for winners shall also be given!

When do we receive our prizes?

Winners will be intimated by mail and also their names shall be displayed on the PaCER website. Cash prizes should reach your bank account within 2 - 3 weeks of conclusion of the competition.
